Biography
After obtaining my Master’s degree in Chemistry in 2017 from the University of Pisa, I continued my academic training by earning a Ph.D. in 2022 from the same institution, working on the development of electrochemical sensors for sports applications. During my doctoral studies, I acquired cross-disciplinary skills in programming, electronics, and mechanics by working on interdisciplinary research projects and securing research fellowships at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR). I am currently a fixed-term researcher at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry of the University of Pisa, where I work on the development of electrochemical sensors and technologies for analytical, synthetic, and energy applications.

Education
PhD Chemistry and Material Science, 2022;
M.Sc., Analytical Chemistry, University of Pisa 2017;
B.Sc., Chemistry, University of Pisa 2015.

Research interests
My research focuses on the design, development, and characterization of electrochemical sensors and devices for analytical, synthetic, and energy-related applications. I am particularly interested in exploring interdisciplinary approaches that integrate chemistry, electronics, and materials science to create innovative sensing platforms and electrochemical systems. Current research directions include the development of wearable and portable electrochemical sensors, the optimization of electrode materials and architectures, and the application of electrochemical techniques to energy conversion and storage processes.
